Ned Sullivan was appointed as a director and chairman of the Board of eircom on the 30 October 2008. He is currently Chairman of Greencore Group plc and of McInerney Holdings plc. He is the former Group Managing Director of Glanbia plc and has held various senior management positions in Grand Metropolitan plc in London and Dublin. He holds both BComm and MBS degrees.

Jerome Barrett was appointed as a director of ERC Ireland Finance and as Deputy Chairman of the Board with effect from 1 June 2009. He was also appointed a director of eircom Limited on the same date. He has served as non executive director of the eircom ESOP Trustee since August 2001, and as chairman since July 2004. Mr. Barrett served as National Officer of the Communications Workers Union from 1999 until his retirement in June 2009.

Paul Donovan was appointed director and Chief Executive Officer of eircom on 1 July 2009. He has significant telecom management and senior leadership experience from several markets in the world, including Asia Pacific and Africa. Prior to this he was Chief Executive, EMAPA Region for the Vodafone Group. Mr. Donovan’s background includes a decade in the consumer goods industry, before he moved into the technology sector, principally with BT and Vodafone. He spent 10 years with Vodafone and for the last five years he oversaw Vodafone's operations in subsidiaries in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific, Africa, the US, India and China. As part of his role, he was on the boards of numerous subsidiaries and joint ventures during this period. He holds a BA (with Honours) from University College, London and an MBA from the Bradford University Management Centre with a specialisation in Finance and Business Policy. He was elected as a non-executive director of Millicom International Cellular SA in May 2009

Cathal Magee has served on the board of directors of eircom since 18 March 2004. He was a director of the eircom ESOP Trustee from September 1998 to September 2008. He has been managing director of eircom Retail since January 2002 and was Acting Chief Executive Officer from 26 February to 30 June 2009. Prior to 2002 he was managing director of the Fixed-Line Business, eircom Ireland, a position he held since 1999. He has been a member of the executive board of eircom since he joined the company in March 1995 and also held the position of managing director, Business Transformation and HR director during that period. In addition, he is a non-Executive Director of EBS Building Society and Voluntary Health Insurance Board (VHI). Prior to joining eircom, Mr. Magee worked for the National Australian Banking Group in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Peter Cross was appointed Chief Financial Officer and to the board of eircom in July 2007. He joined eircom from BT Group, where he held a number of roles from June 2001, including Group Director of Corporate Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Openreach. He was also a trustee of the BT Pension Scheme. Peter previously worked in corporate finance with Morgan Stanley and with Barings. He qualified as Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen and holds a first-class honours degree from University College Dublin.

Larry Smith was appointed to the board of eircom Limited on 2 April 2008. He joined Meteor in November 2004 as Chief Operations Officer responsible for Technical, IT and special major projects, his role later expanding to include Marketing, Customer Care and Sales. In May 2007 he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Meteor. Larry spent 23 years working with BellSouth in various locations including, Colombia, Peru and Israel in roles spanning from COO to President. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Smith served on the Board of BellSouth Colombia, BellSouth Venezuela and BellSouth Peru.

Colm Barrington Barrington has served on the board of directors of ERC Ireland Finance since April 2006 and was appointed to the Board of eircom Limited in October 2008. He is Chief Executive of Babcock & Brown Air Limited, the New York Stock Exchange listed aircraft leasing company based in Dublin. He is also non executive Chairman of Aer Lingus plc and serves on the board of directors of IFG Group plc.

Gregory Sparks was appointed as a director of ERC Ireland Finance on 1 June 2009. He was appointed a director of eircom Limited on 27 May 2009. He is a founding partner of FGS, Chartered Accountants, which is an all-Ireland firm representing RSM in Ireland. He was appointed to the Board of the eircom ESOP Trustee on 27 February 2008. He holds a number of other Board directorships including The Irish Times and Digicel, the mobile operator in the Caribbean. He was a Board member of the Special Olympics World Games and worked as Programme Manager for Dick Spring when in Government from 1992 to1997.

Andrew Day was appointed as a director of ERC Ireland Finance on 27 March 2009 and as a director of eircom Limited on the same date. Mr. Day has been the Chief Executive Officer of Eircom Holdings Limited (previously Babcock & Brown Capital Limited) since 27 February 2009. Mr. Day previously spent almost 25 years with Telstra Corporation Limited in a number of senior executive divisional head positions including more than six years as Chief Executive Officer of Sensis Pty Limited. Mr. Day was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Truvo Services B.V.

Nicholas Hartery was appointed a Non-Executive Director of eircom Limited on 18 March 2009. He has been a senior Non-Executive Director at CRH since 2004. Mr. Hartery was Executive Vice President of Dell Computers EMEA, a role he held from 2000 until 2008. Previously, Mr. Hartery held senior positions in Eastman Kodak and the Verbatim Corporation. He began his career at General Electric, formerly the EI Company in Shannon
