Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority in its capacity as UK Listing Authority and to the Irish Stock Exchange Limited for a block listing on the Official Lists of the UK Listing Authority and the Irish Stock Exchange Limited of 4,312,990 ordinary shares of €0.10 each of eircom Group plc (the “Shares”). Application has also been made to the London Stock Exchange plc (the “LSE”) for the Shares to be admitted to trading in accordance with the rules of the LSE.
The Shares may be issued pursuant to allotments to be made under the eircom Group Executive Share Option Plan (E Ordinary Shares) during the 12 months following Admission. The Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the Company’s existing ordinary shares.
